Our Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are the legal agreements between QUCOSO and any person or company that is using QUCOSO services.
QUCOSO provides quality control services for companies sourcing products from Asian countries. The Customer wishes to appoint QUCOSO to perform the Services, and QUCOSO agrees to perform the services under the terms of this agreement to the benefit of the Customer.
You may place an order ("Order") for the performance of certain services ("Services") by QUCOSO using your registered user account via this website. All Orders must be placed no later than 12:00 p.m. two business days before the expected Service Date. Any Order placed after 12:00 p.m. two business days prior to the Service Date may incur service delay.
Upon request for a particular service and once Customer has provided sufficient detail of the project required for service performance, QUCOSO shall provide Customer with a Quotation indicating the Service Fee, Expenses for the performance of a service, and applicable Taxes. Quotations may be in email format, a separate document, or may, for Long Term Services, be included in a “Project Proposal”. Quotations are valid for services performed on the date(s) and at the location(s) quoted for. Any changes to requirements or service details may invalidate a Quotation and result in the issue of a new one.
The overall service cost for any service consists of a Service Fee and Expenses. Fees are labeled in
USD. The Service Fee is the base fee for service provision. Service Fees may vary by service,
location, and over time. Every Customer is advised to request from QUCOSO the most up-to-date
Service Fee for the particular service and respective service location. Once the Service Fee has
been agreed upon for prescribed Services, Customer may not need to check the Service Fee every time.
Service Fees may be defined and quoted in terms of Man-days (“Man-day Rate”), Man-hours (“Hourly
Rate”), or for the entire service package (“Package Rate”). A Man-day shall consist of eight
Man-hours inclusive of travel time, time-on-site, and reporting. For Quotations providing a Man-day
Rate, the minimum out-of-office charge shall be for one Man-day. Overtime rates are applicable at 2
times the Hourly Rate after 8 hours. Services on holidays are charged at 2 times the Man-day or
Hourly Rate as may apply.
In addition to the Service Fee, any Expenses incurred by QUCOSO in the performance of the service,
including but not limited to travel expenses and/or any other expenses which may necessarily arise
in the course of service provision, will be charged. Where such expenses may be incurred, QUCOSO
shall, prior to performance and where possible, inform Customer. Customer hereby agrees to reimburse
QUCOSO for any and all reasonable Expenses QUCOSO may incur, unless an All-inclusive Service Fee has
been quoted. All-inclusive Service Fees are inclusive of Expenses and no further service-related
charges shall be payable by Customer.
Service Costs, Service Fees, All-inclusive Service Fees, and Expenses are exclusive of any Taxes
which may be applicable and vary by service location. Applicable Taxes shall be indicated on
Quotations and payable by Customer.
You may change or cancel an Order with QUCOSO via the website. Such requests must be made before
9:00 am at least one business day before the Service Date. Any cancellation or change request made
after 9:00 am but before 6:00 pm on the business day before the Service Date will incur a Late
Charge/Cancellation Fee. The Late Charge/Cancellation Fee is generally half of the agreed Service
Fee.
Any cancellation or change request made after 6:00 pm on the business day prior to the Service Date
will not be accepted and the relevant Service Fees in respect of the original Order will be charged
to you.
QUCOSO reserves the right to cancel any Service Booking at any time. No Service Cost shall be
payable by Customer for cancellation by QUCOSO.
For regular clients, invoices will be sent by email once a month, at the end of the month, with all
services performed during the month, and payment is requested within 10 days of invoice reception.
When transferring the money with its bank, the client agrees to pay for their own bank fees and
overseas charges, while we pay for our own bank fees.
Clients can pay the ordered services fees to QUCOSO by bank transfer (TT / telegraphic transfer of
money, from bank to bank).
In case the client did not pay their previous invoice(s), QUCOSO has all rights to stop providing
its service and the client still needs to pay the amount related to the services performed by
QUCOSO. Moreover, an extra charge of 3% of the due amount will be charged for every month of late
payment.
QUCOSO is a quality control company, and as such, it is our job to report and record what we see and
to assist our Customers in making decisions regarding whether to ship products or not. As we are
often not present during the loading of containers and we only take a statistical sampling of the
total lot, we cannot provide a 100% guarantee that the same goods were shipped, nor that the total
lot size will meet the desired quality standards. We are simply there to reduce the possibility of
future problems. Additionally, there is a human factor involved. We strive to achieve consistency
through continuous training.
Any concerns that you may have regarding the performance of QUCOSO staff should be brought to our
attention immediately so that we can start a claim investigation which involves checking reference
samples, shipment samples, and all paperwork relating to the Service to verify where mistakes
occurred. In cases of proven extreme oversight, QUCOSO will refund the value of the total Service
Fee.
In the event of inaccurate or incomplete information being given to QUCOSO by anyone as input for
the service, there is no acceptance of liability.
All the Parties including Customer, Supplier, Factory, or any Third Party involved with the Service will comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to anti-bribery and anti-corruption. You must not offer, promise, or give any undue pecuniary or other advantage, either directly or indirectly, for the purpose of influencing QUCOSO reporting decisions or actions. Similarly, QUCOSO's employees shall prohibit the offer or acceptance of a bribe, a gift, or favor in any form. QUCOSO employees shall inform their management if any suspicious or bribery offer is made to them. In case of non-respect of these principles, the employee will be under disciplinary action by the company.
